Ryan’s Phrase Of The Day: Take sth in one’s stride
Meaning
: Able to do sth, deal with sth well Example (1): “I couldn’t cook a single thing at the start of this year but after some help from my mother, I took it in my stride and now I’m a master chef.”
Example (2): “Like, it’s been six weeks and our relationship just totally sucks, I’m, like, not even into him anymore. So I told him that we were over and, what the hell, he took it in his stride. Maybe I should get back together with him. I’m so confused.”
