tenses:

- He is being loud because he wants people to hear him
- She was being very quiet because she was nervous
- I am being nice to the new employee

🇬🇧 Being can also be used as a gerund

- I hate being last in the queue
- Do you enjoy being a footballer?
- Being a doctor is very stressful
