Yesterday I got my second dose of the Covid vaccine. So far

I do not have any side effects. Sadly, someone yesterday criticized me for getting the vaccine while still wearing a mask.

My Hello Talk audience, this situation is one that you must understand about the US. We are an isolationistic country. Many Americans, especially in rural areas and The South, distrust others. They distrust the government. They distrust their neighbors. They distrust science. There is no longer a thread of common community and looking out for one another. Instead, it is competition and willful ignorance. There are times where I feel like I am always teaching adults who should have already learned better in school.
