Ryan’s Phrase Of The Day: Shoe’s on the other foot
Meaning:
Roles reversed, to experience someone else’s situation Example (1): “We as human beings are often quick to judge others without really knowing the full situation, if the shoe was on the other foot maybe we would feel differently.”
Example (2): “When we are young our parents always push us to finish our homework, sleep early, eat well and so on. We would then complain until we grow older then the shoe will be on the other foot as we tell our children to do the exact same things.”
