What I love about British/European architecture is the amazing
robustness of buildings that have survived and still exist as regular domiciles for hundreds of years.This house around the corner from mine is about 300 years old and used to be an old farm house. Another house near mine goes back to the 1500s.
The blossom you see in the other photos are in the local cemetery. By all accounts it might be weird to walk around a graveyard for leisure but you'd be surprised how many people do it. One can see a lot of species of flowers and trees,deer,foxes,pheasants,badgers,rabbits etc.
