Idiom of the Day
“Walk in the Park”
Imagine yourself taking
a real walk in the park. It is peaceful. Relaxing. Enjoyable. Easy. That is precisely what the idiom refers to. If you say something is a “walk in the park,” that means it is easy to do and it is rather enjoyable. Nevertheless, this is usually made in reference to a task. Maybe preparing for a job interview with an eager employer was a “walk in the park.” Or having to drive a 100km distance was a “walk in the park” because there was little to no traffic.
