Some photos I took this weekend of a place called “Stradbroke
Island” (“Minjerribah” in the indigenous language). A magical island in Queensland, Australia. The island remains beautiful because the locals prevent it from becoming too commercial. I hope it always stays this way so we can continue to enjoy it the way it is - natural. Many animals live around the island - dolphins, turtles, kangaroos, lizards, and also ones that can be more dangerous too - sharks and snakes. It’s famous for surfing, swimming, beaches, lakes, bush hiking and stunning views. The island belongs to and is looked after by its original inhabitants - the Quandamooka Aboriginal people. If you are ever in Queensland Australia, you must visit. 😊Download the HelloTalk app to join the conversation.
