Common English Mistakes - Lesson 1

For the first lesson, we

will look at the difference in pronunciation between “THIS” and “THESE”.

The two words are commonly mixed up, and it’s easy to understand why it happens as they sound fairly similar. Here are the two words:

This - /ðɪs/ - Singular
These - /ðiːz/ - Plural

Two example phrases:

“This is my house”
“These are my children”
